I hope you all had a lovely half-term break.
3MW's brand new topic is a combination of both Iceland and volcanoes.
This is a very different, very interesting country to study with a mixture of focus on volcanoes - an established Y3 area of study.
As the curriculum newsletter stated, we are in the middle of planning a very exciting celebration at the end of this topic.
Today, we have been learning some key information about the country of Iceland and it's similarities/differences with our last topic. We also watched some videos to explain what geysers are and how they work - this video exemplified it really well.
Watch this space for more of the childrens' work and learning, particularly on our official launch day on Wednesday!
